About Gerald J. Fahey

Gerald J. Fahey completed his legal education at the University of Toronto. He was called to the bar of Ontario in 1991, and has been a member of the British Columbia Bar since 1996.

He is currently with the Vancouver law firm of Epstein, Wood where he conducts a litigation practice with a focus on administrative law. He was formerly counsel to Ontario’s Information and Privacy Commissioner, and practices in all areas of privacy and freedom of information law. Gerald also worked for the federal government in the field of immigration law, and advises clients regarding a wide range of immigration issues. He served as an instructor in administrative law for the Ontario Bar Admissions Program, and has presented lectures on privacy and freedom of information law through the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC.
