About Gerald J. Fahey

Gerald J. Fahey completed his legal education at the University of Toronto. He was called to the bar of Ontario in 1991, and has been a member of the British Columbia Bar since 1996.

Gerald conducts a general litigation practice with a focus on administrative law, regulatory issues and personal injury claims. He represents clients before various administrative tribunals and acts as legal counsel to several self-regulating professions. He has also appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and British Columbia, and served as an instructor in administrative law for the Ontario bar Admissions Program.

Gerald acted as the research co-ordinator for the British Columbia Health Professions Council in its review of professional legislation and practices, and uses his knowledge of health care and medical issues in his litigation practice. In 2007, he was co-counsel in a case that resulted in a 2 million dollar jury verdict on behalf of a computer professional suffering from post-concussion syndrome.
